Why a block, and not just sessions

The Foundation Block is eight sessions bought together at €140 rather than €150 each. The discount isn't really the point.

Therapy works considerably better when you're not re-deciding every week whether to continue. The early weeks in particular tend to be the ones people are most tempted to abandon — and often the ones doing the most work. Booking a block takes that decision out of the process.

It's optional. Plenty of people work session by session throughout, and that's fine.

What every session includes

  • The session itself
  • Preparation and notes between appointments
  • Adjustments to the plan as we go
  • No separate charge for any of it

One additional cost, stated upfront

If we do HeartMath work, you'll need your own sensor — the Inner Balance Coherence Plus. It costs around €200, and as a certified HeartMath trainer I can supply it at a 20% discount.

It's yours permanently. You'll go on using it long after we finish working together, which is deliberate — the aim is a capacity you own, not something that only works in sessions.

Why €150

I'm not the cheapest option and I'm not trying to be.

What you're paying for is a specific combination: a psychotherapist licensed since 2020 with over ten years of clinical practice, trained in EMDR and Lifespan Integration, and a certified HeartMath trainer. Most people with the biofeedback training aren't psychotherapists. Most psychotherapists don't work with measurement at all.

If cost is the deciding factor rather than fit, group therapy at €50 is a genuinely good option, and I'd rather point you there than have you stretch for something unsustainable.

Scheduling and payment

Frequency

Usually weekly to begin with, particularly in the first two or three months. Some people move to fortnightly later; some don't.

Cancellation

Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice are charged in full. Not a penalty — the time is held for you and can't realistically be filled at short notice.

Payment

By bank transfer, per session or in advance for blocks. An invoice is issued for every payment.

Currency

All fees are in euros. If you're paying from outside the eurozone, your bank's conversion rate applies.

Questions people ask

How much does online therapy cost?

€150 for a 50-minute session, or €1,120 for a block of eight (€140 each). The Regulation Baseline is €250 for 90 minutes and group therapy is €50 for 90 minutes. The first session is charged at the standard rate.

Do I have to book a block?

No. Blocks are optional and exist because continuity improves outcomes, not because they're required. You can work session by session throughout.

What happens if I need to pause?

We talk about it rather than sessions quietly stopping, which is more common than it should be. Breaks are normal — for travel, workload, or because you need time to absorb something. Unused sessions in a block don't expire.

Do you offer reduced fees?

A limited number of places, discussed individually. If cost is genuinely the barrier, say so when you get in touch.

Do you take insurance?

I work on a self-pay basis and issue an invoice for every session. Whether any of it is reimbursable depends on your own cover, so it's worth checking with your insurer before we begin.

Do I need to buy equipment?

Only if we do HeartMath work, in which case you'll need your own sensor — around €200, available at a 20% discount through me as a certified trainer. It's yours to keep and continues to be useful after we finish.

Before you commit to anything

The first session stands on its own. You get a clear read on what’s maintaining the problem and what would address it.
