I'm Rotem. Born under the skies of Israel, I've spent the past 15 years nestled in Austria, working as a licensed therapist and surrounded by family and friends. But my route to psychotherapy has been anything but straight forward.
Once upon a time, I was an electrical engineer. My days revolved around untangling complex technological issues and navigating interpersonal dynamics within a diverse international team. While problem-solving circuits was challenging, I felt a deeper pull towards the enigmas of the human heart and mind.
This realization set me on a transformative journey, both inside and out. I went on a quest to better understand who am I and what I stand for. Along the way, I discovered profound practices that reshaped how I connected with others and perhaps even more importantly, with myself. With each step, my mission crystallized: to assist others in navigating their emotional landscapes and creating a life full of meaning, purpose, and joy.
The analytical thinking I developed during my engineering days still serves as a tool in my psychotherapeutic work. Curiosity, my age-old companion, keeps motivating me. Whether it's unlocking the secrets of a motherboard or the complexities of the human psyche, my ultimate goal remains unchanged: to find practical ways to change and get the desired results.
In the meantime, I have worked with thousands of individuals from all over the world and I am very grateful for the fulfilment and the opportunity to get to know so many stories. Every client is a whole world with treasures waiting to be found. As a psychotherapist, I always try to blend the analytical approach of an engineer with the empathy of a curious listener.
